Last week, one of Extra's expert resource persons concluded a lecture at the University of Pisa in Cloud technology as part of the university's computer science program.

Laura Pisano, Extra's Head System Administrator was an instructor for the Cloud and Green Computing course where she specifically discussed the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) model.
The overall objective of the course is to provide an introduction to Cloud technology and environmentally-friendly computing. They discussed various aspects of the infrastructure, software and Cloud business model with a focus on issues of environmental sustainability. The course is part of the Computer Science degree requirements.
