Restaurant Table Locator

Tagmate Restaurant Table Locator

Table Locators are designed mainly for fast food businesses or restaurants that have large dining areas with high customer footfall. These type of restaurants usually have lines of customers waiting to place their order, or waiting to find a free table to accommodate.

In Tagmate's Table Locator use case, we have welcome screens that customers can access by touching their tagged device (registration needed prior to access) that could be their contact-less credit card, their NFC equipped smartphone or a gadget provided by the restaurant tied to the customer's digital identity.

The order can also be placed via the app on the customer's smartphone. Once the order is placed and paid for, the customers would pick the table of their choice and touch their tag to the tag reader on the table.

The order would then be sent to the kitchen and as soon as it is ready a waiter will bring the food to the table.

In addition, with the optional augmented reality module in the mobile app, customers can scan the food using their camera on their phone and see the related information on the screen, such as ingredients, calories and so on.

Quick but unforgettable experience

Customer interactions on the app and on the welcome screen are recorded and tracked in Tagmate's Engine.

The collected data opens up a world of market research, analytics and customer service opportunities including:

  • Financial information: will be sent back to the ERP, customer preferences will be added to the data pool on the CRM and the Marketing software.
  • Customer Preferences: Customer profile is enriched with data collected and analyzed such as the type of food, nutritional values, preferred table and time to dine, location of the preferred branch etc.
  • Personalized service: When the customer returns they will be greeted by the welcome screen and will receive suggestions based on their previous choices.

Additionally, with gamification, and loyalty programs that rely on collected data, customers would be more involved with the brand and the dining experience.
